ESRB Entry Hints NBA Jam Will Slam Onto HD Systems

A posting on the ESRB's website reveals that EA's remake of the arcade shaft-dunk NBA Jam will Army of the Righteou players shatter backboards on all iii of the current-gen systems.

Unhappy gamers were understandably excited when Electronic Arts announced a remake of Central's cult classic arcade basketball, NBA Jam, for the Wii. A certain segment of that fan dishonourable has been clamoring for last-definition versions of the refashion, but EA has been amazingly cagey on the capable. Still, disdain the lack of comment from the publishing firm, evidence has appeared on the websites of multiple gritty rating boards that the basketball game title will show up on all three of the modern household consoles.

A few weeks ago, the German USK ratings board mentioned Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the brave, and now, a similar listing has appeared happening the site of the American military rating gameboard, the ESRB. A search in the ESRB's database reveals two entries for the upcoming game, one for the Wii and one for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Some entries share a uncouth self-complacent sum-up and rating, "E for Everyone."

Electronic Arts has until no to scuttlebutt on the listing, but with confirmation from two different ratings boards, it seems likely that high-definition ports of the Wii remake are in the works. It seems likely that the initial Wii version will be a timed exclusive, merely gamers without a Wii could constitute playacting the game on their Xbox or PS3 earliest next year.
